[T3] DDB takes over at Woodburn....

This past Saturday we had our first show of the summer here at Woodburn drag
strip...just about 25 min south of Portland.

The DDB wanted to make a good showing ...We rounded up 13 and half cars to
make the drive down...!!! Yes we broke out the newly completed "halfback" ,
I used my fastback equipped with a t3 tow bar to pull the HB to the show.

At first the trailer started the fish tail on the highway...so i proceeded
at 48 mph to the meeting location, once there i moved the load of parts that
were for the swap and ice chest to the front of the trailer...and we carried
on.
I now felt comfortable doing 55 [a few times I hit 60!] We painted quite a
pictures going down the road with us in a line. (ahh shades of parma....)
As we pulling into the show area/ Group parking we definitely got a lot of
looks and head shaking..People would keep coming up to us saying "I never
seen this many T3 together", or people were shocked to see 5 notches in our
group also..!

The day was perfect ...we had our master chef Adam break out his BBQ and we
dinned on Ribs,Burgers and dogs!
Also as the day went on we were joined by a few more car from another club
in the Seattle area that had come down to join us for the day..All in all we
had 20 and half cars in our spot as a few more members came in late...

And with the exception of Mr. Fye's locked rotor...we all had a perfect
drive there and back ..now come the prep for the next show! Ahh YEAH!!

oh yeah...new photos of the Halfback new stance are on the Samba if you
would like to see the new "ride position"..
