I leave the Webers or restore the FI? Pros and cons? I prefer well
restored-to-stock older cars to customized ones, so I'm leaning towards
FI, but I wanted to learn more about why someone yanked it in the first
place.

Here it is a good idea to try and go back to the FI. The reason is that it
works very well, gives the best performance and best mileage. Also this list can
help you get thru anything that goes wrong with it.But, if you don't have all
the parts, keeping the Webers on for now won't hurt either. Besides, it will
allow you to enjoy the car while trying to find what you need so you can
re-install the FI. what you need to do is make a list of what you have (include the
311 part numbers) so we can help determine what you are still needing to put
it back together.

I've taken pictures of the contents of the box, as well as 311 part numbers, and put them up at

Thanks for helping me make sure I have all the parts, and in identifying the unknown ones!
