Can you give us any more info? Will it drive? Is there a general loss of power,
or just a momentary loss while it sputters? Have you checked your gas tank
overflow hose? (If this is broken you can get water in the gas tank when you
drive on wet roads.)

Have you done any of the normal tune-up things (dwell, timing, valve
adjustment) and did any of this help?

Have you checked the fuel pressure or the charging system regulating voltage?

Next time this happens, just turn the key OFF and back ON while in motion and
in gear and let the engine restart itself. See if it is better after this.
