Re: [T3] AT Leak

<x-flowed>
One possibility -- there's a tapped hole in the tranny body where a single bolt joins the bottom of the ATF filler tube to the transmission. On my car, that hole is totally stripped. ATF leaks out from that junction between the filler tube and the tranny body. This happens particularly after the car sits for a while -- I believe that the ATF from places higher up gradually makes its way down into the pan, raising the level at the bottom until it rises above this leaky junction.

You might try taking your car to one of those do-it-yourself car washes. Chose the engine cleaner setting and blast the transmission (hit the engine while you're at it) until it's clean. You'll then be able to watch for the leak and see its source more clearly for yourself.
