After a few AT pan gaskets the leak is still bad, I thought it got better but no dice. I decided to take it to a tranny shop to have them check it out. When I finally found a shop that would even look at it, they said it was leaking from the bellhousing, then gathering at the pan and dripping down, not the pan gasket. Can anyone confirm this possibility and/or my options (Russ)? Because this would mean removing the engine and tranny again (just done a few months ago). My concerns about the shop I took it too are that the guy said: "I am from Mexico and we have lots of these cars there, I know them well..." but he could not even figure out how to get it into gear? The only thing he did was slide under the car and 30 seconds later come with this diagnosis, so he's either real good or just trying to make a buck? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
