I think it sucks they are going 67 and earlier... I would also be one of those people pulling their chassis off the pan and walking it in on my shoulders with my head stuck out the sunroof. If anyone wants to arrange a Type3 extravaganza... the Road Relics VW Club in San Jose meets every Tuesday night at 7:30pm at Happy Dayz Diner on Union and Bascom..... I for one would LOVE to see some of your cars show up. Road Relics is a pre'67 focused club, but it's turning a bit more into a "non trailer queen" VW club. If you use it as a daily driver, bring it down! Yeah I heard that a few complained because they couldn't get a couple of split window bugs in that arrived late. As a direct result of that they decided to go 67 and earlier, and I heard that they're also doing a pre-registration. I think it a bunch of BS, but it is their club and they make the rules. I think if they're going to make that 67 and earlier commitment then the whole car should be the same as it rolled out of Wolfsburg, not on a later pan and not with a bigger dual carb motor, after all it IS a vintage show. I've been wondering if this was a way to keep it more of a type1 and 2 show rather then let all cars 25 years and older like some of the early water pumpers are. ist/ ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
