Yeah I heard that a few complained because they couldn't get a couple of
split window bugs in that arrived late. As a direct result of that they
decided to go 67 and earlier, and I heard that they're also doing a
pre-registration. I think it a bunch of BS, but it is their club and they
make the rules. I think if they're going to make that 67 and earlier
commitment then the whole car should be the same as it rolled out of
Wolfsburg, not on a later pan and not with a bigger dual carb motor, after
all it IS a vintage show. I've been wondering if this was a way to keep it
more of a type1 and 2 show rather then let all cars 25 years and older like
some of the early water pumpers are. I think I'd probably do just like you
Greg and take my Square there and hunt for parts, just take pictures, and
have as good a time as possible.
