Your original heads are always better, if you can use them. As for the
T-1 heads, what year are they off of? Is your '68 still using FI? If the
T-1 heads are from a FI T-1, and have the temperature sensor mount, you
are probably OK. You might have to remove the locating dowels if they
are T-1 dual ports, and they would be a lower compression ratio.
