Jacob, try your local camping supply for the D19 tape. The camping industry
uses it for sealing windows and roof vents. Its the closest thing I have
found to the original stuff VW used. It sells for about $5 a roll, which is
more than enuf for you to do this job. I've actually found other places and
uses for this tape. I hope this helps.
