After a trip to town, I managed to find at my FLAPS some caulk "strips" that came in a spool (30 ft worth for about $10) that will work for the sealing tape. This stuff claims to not dry out, not to become brittle, and to be weatherproof. I checked my camping supply store first with no success. As far as the foam rubber, I understand why you'd suggest staying away from the foam stuff due to it's wicking properties, but what (if anything) should I shove in there to fill the gap that the ISPWest seal doesn't fill? This is only at the front and rear of the air intake scoops behind the fender. It's not really a big space to fill, but it's still a space.
