Didn't M-B have a mechanical FI car in the 30s? I think it was the SSK. The 
story was that you could be cruising at 100 mph and pass this white M-B parked 
on the side of the road with the driver standing outside next to the car. 
Within ONE minute this car could reappear in your rear view mirror and pass you 
like you were standing still.
