Re: [T3] tachy clock

Hey listers,

I'm still here, but I have been in emcon delta for some time now. I'm
taking 20 credit hours this semester and tutoring in our Math Study Lab, so
I haven't had time for giving any quality help here on the list.

I'm glad some of you are getting some useful info from my site. Keith Park
mentioned a doing a similar conversion but wasn't impressed with the
linearity over a range of temperatures. Except as a test on my winter
beater, I haven't had the tach installed or tested it in a real world
environment, so I can't put my my 2¢ in that jar. He does raise a good
point that I hadn't considered, though. I'll keep that in mind when I
finally get it installed.

The idea I was going for was like that really nice one at the gigidolls
site. Man, that is a nice unit. I don't have the skills for transforming
the face and numbers into anything that looks decent, so decided to make the
function fit the form instead.

Feel free to ask any questions about my conversion. I will try to answer
what I can.

Guess I better get back to writing my English paper now.
