  ive allways removed this handle on stock typ3 engines ive had its real
easy what you can do take a 13mm shorter bolt with a washer and a stat/lock
washer put a little thread lock on the threads and bolt it up!

it is my feeling that if you buzz your motor ocasionaly it is important to
have all bolts possible fitted this will stop your fan experiancing shuffle
betwwen its halfs .you run the risk of doing more harm by leaving the bolt
out than the few seconds work it takes to put one in.
