A late case, case savers, full flow filtering and full balancing are part of my future plan for the Squareback. And by the way, we just got back from the Eureka Springs show. This was my wife's first VW show. On the way back she says "Why don't we restore the Squareback?" Wow! I had planned on getting it back on the road as a daily driver. I'll still do that until I get a new engine for the bus. Then the bus will go back into service as the daily driver and we'll dig into the Squareback. My wife helped her ex restore a '70 Z28 so she knows what goes into a restoration (and is not afraid to get her hands dirty). Am I a lucky guy or what?
