I want to say Big Al was looking into this but I'm not positive. We were
looking for material that would be a good replacement for seat rails. My
brother-in-law got me the data sheet on the plastic that would be good but,
alas, while I was cleaning up the computer room I threw it away because I
thought I wouldn't need it...heh. Well, yesterday I went to a small motor
repair shop and next door was a shop that can CNC and prototype stainless
steel, aluminum, brass and PLASTIC! So I'm thinking, hmmm, if the price is
reasonable I can have this guy make seat rails for us.
Anyone remember what the material was that we thought would be good? Tough
plastic with inherent lubrication properties?
