I made a simple piece that indexes on several of the pulley lobes and slips
over the large round tube ("handle") that comes off of the fan housing and
the breather box.  On the early cars this engaged a rubber mount on the
body.  It is just a handle on the later IRS cars.  Anyway, I cut mine from a
piece of 3/4" thick birch plywood.  It was strong enough to hold.  I will
eventually make one from some 1/8" or so steel plate.  I will snap a quick
picture of it and then post it on the web.  Give a half hour or so.
