apparently, a PO wanted at one time to fill in all the vent holes on the
entire car and had finished the fresh air vents and moved on to the engine
cooling vents when he stoped after successfully smoothing over one set. so
i have to assume at this point that they became very rotted out from the
filler of choice that was used, and collected moisture??? anyway i will
fix it, somehow...
