How recently have you adjusted > and balanced the carbs? My one has the single vac. fuel injection distributor on it. I couldn't find the correct dual advance one, but the FI was the closest. IIRC I timed it at 0? TDC as per Jim Adney's recommendation. I will also run through the carb tuning procedure tomorrow and see if it improves. I last adjusted them when I installed the thermostat which was about a week or so ago, but I just fiddled with the mixture screws because it was idling a bit funny.
