<x-charset iso-8859-1>I have around 80HP from my 1679 with the semi hemi... and it runs (new) about 20deg cooler than the Square motor (old). I dont really have any complaints with the carbs except with the warmup curve and thats simply a design flaw/limitation of carburators. Carbs force you to make changes in steps (jet sizes) while FI you can change infinately. With FI I dont see any problems with tuning. Im happy with the Semi Hemi.... but if I were going for the power of Brians engine, I may be in Shad's camp concerning head design. Theory and real world don't agree here. > > -- > Brian--1964 Notch Speedster 2332cc & 1959 Bug > www.geocities.com/menacefye > > > > ------------------------------------------------ > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> > For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ > ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ </x-charset>
