I have to agree completely with Shad on the semi-hemi issue. It is a completely wrong design for our combustion chambers! The idea will work, but if you run semi-hemi heads with 6.9CR and 35+ total advance on a stock engine you will have a nice 40hp motor. And, under load your interal parts are going to suffer! I have been around enough bergites that are always struggling with getting carbs to work, suffering from no power, etc. Rescently several have gone to traditional chambers and can't believe how easy it is to tune them, drive them and the extra power they have. Theory and real world don't agree here.
