If you were willing to install a switch (charge extra battery/use 12V
accessories) and manually switch back and forth, this would just take some
relays. But this is probably NOT what you want, because with this system
the battery can only be charged when driving and this is also the time when
you probably want to be using your accessories.

If you want to do both at the same time, you would need a 7VDC to 7VDC
isolated inverter that would run any time the engine is running. This would be
much more difficult/expensive.


Do you mean a 7VDC to 12VDC inverter? How many Amps will it use? Could the generator keep up? Where would one get a inverter?
