[T3] 12 volt from a 6 volt t-3

<x-flowed>Hello,

For those who know my car it does not have any 12 volt "contamination". I 
want to be able to install a under glove box CD player, 4 speakers woofer 
speakers along with motion detector alarm. They will be easily removed or 
out of sight before showing the car in a vintage class.

How can I install another 6 volt battery parallel and wire a 12 volt circuit 
in series to handel 12 volt accessories. I could be mistaken but I could 
have sworn I saw a VW bus web sight that showed a drawing that showed just 
how to do that. Now I can't find it. It did charge the batteries at 6 volt 
and ran the 12 volt stuff. Is this possible? Any suggestions?
