<x-charset iso-8859-1> And thank YOU for some fantastic real time (or nearly so) documentation of all that is done to work through such an issue. When I get an intermittant on one cylinder... I often will swap out the 2 spark plug wires connectors and all and see if the problem switches to the other cylinder... this can be done with injectors too. Ive never seen a resistor end open up but I have seen them arc through the side. Keith\ > I found my problem with the popping.
