Hi Robbie, Basically you remove all the door fittings - winder, glass, vent-wing frame (little window) and seal, felt channels, lock cover plate. Then there are small clips that hold the trim frame to the outer part of the door (reach behind to help them out as they are easily damaged. The U-shaped clips with teeth that hold the felt channel also hold the metal trim frame in place using a tongue on the back that fits through the frame into a hole in the door frame. It's really a matter of checking carefully as you remove things and ensuring you don't damage the trim frame. If you need to replace the rubber piece, it can be re-riveted with small blind rivets which are tapped flat so they don't interfere with the glass. Dave. From what I can see, you have to remove some pins so I was curious how people have gone about doing it. > > -- > __________________________________________________________ > Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com > http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup > > > ------------------------------------------------ > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> > For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ > > ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
