[T3] Door lock removal '73

I am trying to remove and clean up my door locks and am having a bad time.  
I have done this on my '71 type 2 with no problems.

My main snag is with the rear window guide.  Does this pull down and pop off 
as it did in my bus?  With the guide in place I am unable to get the lock 
removed.  Any help is much appreciated.
