My 68' Fastback wasn't going into gear, and my buddy diagnosed it as a clutch problem. So he put in a 1700# Kennedy with all new parts. It made a whirring noise afterwards, and after 25 miles starting to not want to go into first gear again. I spoke w/ my friend again...he thinks the flywheel is coming loose from the crank due to the 4 dowels which hold the flywheel being worn...however, isn't it guess work until it's removed? Any other ideas where I should start looking for the trouble? Thanks!
