<x-charset iso-8859-1>The stuff in my Daihatsu is still sticky after 3 years. That car lives outside so it appears to be OK. I'm sure after 10 years it would be dryer, but I will have re-coated by then. It is a wax base, which tends to stay soft at least. I know most petroleum based products set hard and crack/flake as bad as the rubber based stuff. This stuff appears similar to Cosmoline - the stuff our BMW was completlely coated in (Everywhere!), which is still soft enough to go quite liquid in hot sun. That car is over 12 years old now. The very thin stuff which was partially removed is a lot harder. I haven't looked too hard yet, but my Square was "tectyl"ed from new, and has very little rust. Just a hole in the front of each rear wheel well. Most of it is still original paint! Cool!
