[T3] lowed spindles... now caster debate
<x-flowed>in the case of our cars, i am starting to feel like this is the b-52 all
over again... it ain't suppose to work, but does. my car is lowered,
(look at the invasion pic in nyssa and you can compare a lot of front
end heights) according to everything i keep reading about caster it
should wander, handle like crap, ride even worse and require new tires
every 1k miles or less. yet, my car/s drives in a straight line, brakes
in a straight line, handles very well, rides as well as my stocker notch
did, and has perfectly acceptable tire life/wear. so, where did i go
wrong to get it right? i don't think i did. every front lowered type 3
i have had has done this well; as well as my stockers in situations.
that can't be luck. i know that my ghia and my bug did not like
lowering without adding caster, but the type 3s just haven't had the
negative effect... no pun intended!
