Does the cool air come from those intermediate heat exchangers on stock
exhausts, or is there another piece that goes in between the air outlets on
the fan housing?

Has anyone got close-up pictures of the stock setup and the intermediate
heat exchangers? I am thinking of making something up for my Fastback which
has a non-stock exhaust on it, and at the moment it has those flimsy tinfoil
hoses there, which don't usually last long.
