Does the cool air come from those intermediate heat exchangers on stock exhausts, or is there another piece that goes in between the air outlets on the fan housing? Has anyone got close-up pictures of the stock setup and the intermediate heat exchangers? I am thinking of making something up for my Fastback which has a non-stock exhaust on it, and at the moment it has those flimsy tinfoil hoses there, which don't usually last long. Thanks, Ben Doughney __________________________________________ Here's a couple of pics showing how it's supposed to be. Sounds like you need the Elbows or U's (I'm sure there's a technical name but hey...) http://www.keedyweb.net/fastback/pics/Heater-detail-coolairtube.JPG http://www.keedyweb.net/fastback/pics/Heater-Elbow-Bottom.JPG http://www.keedyweb.net/fastback/pics/Heater-Elbow-top.JPG I'll be putting my cool-air tubes back on shortly per Steven and Jim's advice. Yes, I had the heat valve barely open yesterday on an all day cruise with my local club and it will cook you out of the car!
