How about a simple check - lift back wheel one side, 4th gear, look into the engine at the fan pulley and get a helper to turn the back wheel a certain number of turns, while you count the crankshaft turns (or the other way round?). Would this work to calculate overall gear ratio? Would the differential cloud anything, or make it twice as big a number (or half)? If so, I guess you would need two helpers who were turning the rear wheels at the same rate. I can't get my head around ratios and the insides of a tranny at the moment. BTW the 113 number is just the part number of the casing. Dave.
