If Uni-Syn >is good enough for carbed 911's it is good enough for me. >-- >Russ Wolfe .................Fully noted. I guess I'm just a bit analy retentive when it comes to things like this. When I sync my carbs, the "bobber" in the uni-syn fluctuates slightly and with no definitive measuring lines, I figured a better setup could be made. As far as the uni-syn being "good enough for carbed 911's", it's been a few years since 911's have been carbureted and like it or not, technology moves on. The state of tune of today's vehicles is relative to the technology we have today in way of diagnostic testing and equipment. Maybe our cars would run better should we combine a bit of the old with a bit of the new. That's all I was trying to get across. Sure the uni-syn was good enough when it was invented, but there are undoubtedly, better ways to get the same job done today: with more precision. The car's running far better, to me, would be worth the extra effort. Again, that's just my opinion.
