<x-charset iso-8859-1>Second I was given an old compression tester yesterday. Its a > Moto Meter and made in Germany. It has a neat little paper strip you put in > and it gives you a reading. You then move the paper down with a trigger then > do the next piston. Very neat! Anyone ever seen one? I've a few cards that show the compression over a time with my Beetle's service history. Thin red curves that stop at the line for the reading. They were a normally pinned to the invoice. That was when I paid for garage servicing, so it was a very long time ago - the mid sixties! Dave.
