<x-charset iso-8859-1>>My gas gauge needle jumps around whenever the fuel in the tank gets down to halfway or so. - Todd ------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe my experience is unique, but by chance has your car been sitting dormant for a while? I rescued my from a 15 year sleep and when I first started driving her the needle did just as you describe, I didn't get around to fixing it and I noticed after a few tanks of gas the problem seemed to lessen. Now my needle functions as smoothly and accurately as I can imagine it should, she just wanted to be used. Travis '66 Fastback www.t3.vwherb.com </x-charset>
