Re: [T3] Fastback engine questions...

I was a long time type 1 guy, and bought my first type 3 in October 2001 nnot running. With the help of this list and my Bentley I have expanded my horizons, recieved the parts and advice I needed to get it running. In the 3 months I have had it tagged and running I have traveled 1800 trouble free miles.

There is a learning curve with the EFI that WILL frustrate you at times, and you may feel in over your head, but it is well worth it once you achieve the goal of a good running T3. You will dig the EFI once you get it operating properly.

Don't let the unknown scare you away from what I now see as the most underappreciated, misunderstood aircooled VW made. My T3 is easily my favorite out of the 17 aircooleds I have owned over the years.

BTW, parts are not as expensive as some might lead you to believe. I have found everything I have needed through this list and have not paid an arm and a leg for anything.
