Opinion of a 6 month old T 3 owner Define difficult :) actually its pretty easy once you get to understand it, then again I have an electrical engineering background so maybe im not the best person to give advice in this area. Its quite a simple system fron an electronics point of view, and there arent many components that you can remove and replace on it. Parts for the FI are expensive though (I call $60.00 for one injector expensive), you can get them cheaper by talking to people on this list or searching around. There are also many parts that are no longer available, though again you may be able to find some. The other day I drove my big to work, just have gotten it assembled, so I gave it a test flight.....next day I was driving my wifes square for some reason and I caught myself thinking " you know I should have gotten a type III instead of my bug" As Russ said, dont do the type one....Unless you build yourself a complete "engine seperation tin" like there is in a type one to sepeate the top of the motor from the bottom Drake 72 square 63 bug San Jose, Ca ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe </x-charset>
