<x-charset iso-8859-1>While I'm waiting on more mechanical parts to arrive, I've decided that next week should be dedicated to bolting the body back together on our Fastback. In the spirit of that task, I have a few questions. 1. What is D19 Sealing Tape, and what is its modern equivalent? Should I go out and get a roll of Butyl Tape before bolting the front fenders on? 2. What year Fastbacks were offered WITHOUT the rear pop-outs? I have a set of rear pop-outs on the car now, but the new window seals that came with the car are not for pop-out rear windows. Since we're not doing a restoration on this car, I'm not worried about authenticity as much as I am keeping water out. 3. With #3 in mind, does anyone have a set of non-pop-out windows they'd be willing to trade for my pop-outs? The seals are kind of rough, but I think salvagable (the chrome trim strip is missing), the glass itself is in excellent shape and the latches are complete.
