<x-charset iso-8859-1>>These are actually real folks w/ real lawyers who really work for VWoA. Isn't this a little akin to shooting mosquitoes with a Howitzer (TM)? It seems to me that an organization as large as VWoA would have cooler minds within the ranks than to alienate every enthusiast by nickel and diming them to death. But then again, there is no small number of mega-corps that have mis-read the public interest in their product and gotten wrapped up in a self righteous "business as we see it, who needs the little guy" until the little guys don't need or want them anymore, Harley-Davidson (copyright 2002, all rights reserved) comes to mind right off the bat. The thing is, how many N** B*****s can you sell to hipster doofuses before everyone that wants one, has one? Personally, I think we should take a cue from Shakespeare and "first, we kill all the lawyers..." David Walters (boy, I'm probably gonna regret that last comment, one way or another) 73' 1600 L Stufenhecht (used to be a Notchback, but apparently that name belongs to someone else...) S. FL, USA PS, It's ironic, but there is a George Lucas special playing in the background on TV where he has encouraged fans to make mini films with a Star Wars theme so that, admittedly, will help to drum up interest in his product. I'll bet he has no intent to force the producers of these films to buy into a licensing agreement afterwards. Incredible.... ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org </x-charset>
