OTOH, LOUD may be a problem. But if you can drive down the road with the radio on, with all the speakers inside the passenger compartment, and not feel the need for earplugs, then you really aren't using all that much average power. The stock generator will be fine.

You'll get in trouble if you like to park and open the doors, get out, and entertain the neighborhood.

Hehe, BTDT :-)

The big users are the headlights and wipers, and all the other little bulbs that all add up. The FI takes some, and ignition takes some. I suppose if you did a lot of loud afterdark driving in the rain, that could be a problem, but that's not likely to happen enough to affect most people.

I had a stereo system that had an amperage rating at 40 amps, while the generator puts out 35 amps. On top of that, daytime headlights or foglights are mandatory here in Norway, so I usually had the Hella fog lights on as well, at all time. At night, the headlights were also on, of course with the parking light surfaces as well. Even though the battery was new, I had to charge it with the 230v trickle charger about once a week. Then I found Toby's alternator mod....
