If you only hear one, then there is a wire on the starter that is hooked up wrong. This will make the CSV run when it shouldn't, and will also confuse the ECU into running rich. You should also measure the charging system regulating voltage: With the engine warm after a drive, stop and measure the voltage across the battery with the engine running at medium (2000-2500) RPM. It should be 14.1- 14.4V. If it is less than 13.5V, replace the voltage regulator with a genuine Bosch. Low system voltage will make the FI run rich. > Also, I have asked about the pressure sensor before. I know that mine has > been tampered with. Each one is adjusted individually, and there really is no internal stop, so this doesn't work. I haven't figured out a way to recalibrate these yet, but I should have a good used one here if you are interested. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
