<x-charset iso-8859-1> Anyone have any pointers on cleaning my ignition dist.? It seems that my
dirty distributor is dropping stuff on my trigger contacts. I just cleaned
my contacts but they still seem to collect dirt and oil etc very rapidly.
Jim I know you advised against this for a novice, but is there just a
little cleaning I can do without messing anything up? At least until I can
get it done completely. You know maybe just a surface cleaning, not taking
it completely apart, maybe just inside where the trigger contacts sit. What
cleaners will work, carb cleaner?
