It seems like the problem is isolated down to the one carb on the 3/4 side.
I would think that would just be a blockage , no? Was the missing only at
idle or always?
This is one of the things that baffled me about carbs. They're complicated
but OTOH they're also deceptively simple and I can't understand why a carb
would be causing engine to always miss outright, unless a jet was simply
blocked, or the fuel line leading to it, or some sort of really bad vacuum
problem. Eh, whatever, you're getting the stock carbs which is better
anyway.
