<x-charset iso-8859-1>hello there. i dont want to insult you but first are the electro magnetic pilot valves ok ? swap them side to side and see if the problem shifts sides as well. i have some l shaped rulers that come with carb rebuld kits some place ill have a look as these show where the level should be but so long as there is no petrol comeing out of the main tube in the centre at idle you can pretty much be safe so long as there is not more than two washers under the needle valve . i find it a bit odd that you say you had a sticking needle valve causing a rich running condition if these stick it is normally closed not open and it will give the same sort of feeling as running out of fuel(because you are) a poorly operating fuel pump wont help here either. if you rev the engine @ 3500rpm and then snap the throttle closed what happens. have you checked that the chokes track together at the same speed from cold to fully opening both toghether . give me some feedback on these little bits ill see what i can think of in the meantime. neil verdon 66 on irs pan off the speedo in germany if i can. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
