I checked the microfilm, and it appears that some things were superceeded 
and it is not possible to tell what was used over the years. My guess is that 
the late change to the type 1 lever and grip shows up here as superceeding 
the earlier style, so I can't be sure of the history.

It looks like your best bet would be to just get a nice known type 3 assembly.
