Most FI problems have cheap simple solutions. You'll be dollars ahead if you start now to learn a bit about your FI so you can go about your troubleshooting easily if it ever becomes necessary. In general, if the FI system is treated with respect and given the care that a 30 year old car deserves, it will be very reliable. 71 is also just about the best FI year. It will give you good power and economy.
