<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hello all I've been following the list for a while and this is my first post. I'm currently restoring my '72 Variant. I'm getting to the stage now where I'm starting to put things back together again. I was thinking of using urethane bushes on the rear axle for the torsion bars/spring plates and the diagonal arms. Along with this I was planning on Koni shocks. My questions is whether anyone has this set up in use and can comment on the ride. Do urethane bushes make a difference to the ride quality. I don't want a firm bouncy ride. I had Koni shocks on a bug once and they seemed good - anyone like to add any comments on Koni's or alternatives?
