<x-charset iso-8859-1>Well, for a simple, effective, cheap, long term, but totally incorrect 'fix'. Find a couple of plastic film can lids (or similar objects, remove the wiper arm, poke small hole in lid, slide over shaft, and re-install wiper arm. Seals against the shaft, and is wide enough that water accumulating upon it's surface will drip harmlessly away from the offending leaky spot. A bit of Vaseline shmushed under the lid against the shaft/seal will help keep the stray drops and water flow from sneaking past the lid and away from you tootsies. Jeff '67 Sqbk with one yellow RX lid & one film can lid protecting the innards -----Original Message----- I found the pesky leak. I thought for sure it would be the fresh air box's, but it is dripping right down the wiper shaft. Not at the body seal, but inside the hollow tube that holds the rotating shaft. Is there a seal or o-ring in there? Any ideas on how to seal this? ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org </x-charset>
