<x-charset iso-8859-1>There's a guy across the state from me in Pocatello, Idaho that has several type 3 engines sitting in his shop, including one from a 1963 that's been stored indoors covered up for over 20 years. He'll let me have as many of the engines as I want for $100 each. Anyone interested?? I'll pick them up before the invasion if anyone wants one. He has the one early engine, and 3 later FI engines. I think the early one is spoken for, but I check on it. Now, any tips on what my best course is from here? My local junk yard has a '69 Fastback with FI and most of the other components, but across the windshiled in ominous, orange crayon are the letters B-L-O-W-N! Being a born skeptic, I'm unwilling to believe they were talking about the tires. BUt for $125, the mean junk yard lady will let me take it home. She scared me.... So, how about some trustworthy spots online to get a reliable type 3 motor? The one place I tried, CIP, Ltd, is sold out, for how long, I'm not sure. Or maybe someone nearby has a neat, little hummer sitting in their garage?
