OK, so I tried to start The B. this morning; no luck. Took a flashlight and looked for the relay box, found it. It has 5 wires coming out of it. 3 red ones, a blue/white and a white. The white & blue go into a plastic plug that snaps over the prongs on the relay. The red ones just have bare push on clips. I pulled off each clip and wiped it, none of them looked dirty or corroded or wet. There's no moisture in the car. Put them back on, started car, nothing. I went over to Kragen and bought one of those light pen thingies that you use to test circuits with. Came home and started car, it started up just fine. This time, I heard the whirring sound of the fuel pump between the clicks; I definitely did NOT hear that before. So JIm, I think you're right. Something is going on with the power to the fuel pump, but I don't know enough to know what. I tested all the wires with my pen. The 2 red wires that are next to each other lit up when I turned the key (between the clicks). The other red wire stayed on as long as the key was on. Unfortunately, I didn't get to test them while the car wasn't running. So what's going on here? You know what I think? I think The B. just doesn't want to go out in the rain.
