Re: [T3] Chokes

<x-flowed>I agree with Mr. Barnes. I live in temperate Oregon, but it doesn't really get very cold here very often. I tried my '76 Westy with no chokes ala Muir. It was the worst vehicle to drive. Even on regular mornings (~60 deg F) it would take almost 10 minutes for the darn thing to warm up before I could drive it. I had to sit and pump the gas the full 10 minutes too. I finally decided to hook up the chokes and that's when I fell in love with the type 4 motor. Even in the summer time when temps were in the 80s it required way too much time and attention to get it going. Just my experience, and I'm not in the desert, but I'm not in the arctic, either.
